Wertz Family Christmas Party

The whole Wertz clan gathered together at Uncle Ed and Aunt Sandy's house for our annual Christmas party. Grandpa Wertz told us that this tradition started many years ago when Great-Grandma Anderson (Grandma Wertz's mom) wanted to get all the family together to celebrate this special season. I remember when we were younger, all the grandkids would prepare a talent to share; usually Christmas songs on the piano. After dinner and the talent show, Aunt Sandy would pull out all of her costumes and we would reenact the Nativity. Things have changed a little bit since then but the reenactment of the Nativity is still a main part of the celebration.

Bryan stole the show this year for his role as "The donkey".

Sean's mom thought it would be a good idea to have everyone work on blankets for kids at the Family Support and Treatment Center (Lexey's current place of employment). Each child that comes into the center is given a blanket which acts as a comfort for those kids who have been in abusive/traumatizing situations.
